2026 Federal Programs Institute Post Sessions | Sept. 2-3 (8/31/2026)

Join us Sept. 2-3 for our virtual Grants Management training sessions. These sessions will cover key grants management topics, including allocations, carryover and expiring funds, waivers, releases, reimbursement request reviews, and ePlan grant management tools.

The FPO Grants Management team will also be available for questions and answers at the end of each session.

A few reminders:

  • Please join a few minutes early to ensure your audio is working properly.
  • We encourage you to submit questions throughout the sessions using the chat feature.
  • Presentation materials will be shared following the event.
  • TASL Credit has been requested and we are awaiting approval. Further instructions will be given if credit is awarded. Completing session surveys will serve as proof of attendance.
FY26 Title II, Part A Use of Funds Survey (8/17/2026)
Under § 2104(b), the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires local education agencies (LEAs) to report to the State education agency (SEAs) on how Title II funds are spent each year.
 
The Title II, Part A Use of Funds survey is submitted through ePlan. The survey will open in ePlan on Mon., Aug. 17, 2026, and must be completed and submitted by Fri., Sept. 11, 2026. Directors of Schools, Federal Programs Directors, and LEA Title II Directors all have access to submit the report. The report can be found in ePlan > Data and Information > FY26 Title II, Part A Use of Funds Survey.
Carryover and Expiring Funds Review in ePlan (8/17/2026)

The FY27 Carryover and Expiring Funds Review data and information instrument is now available in ePlan. This instrument provides an overview and acknowledgement of FY26, FY25, and FY24 grant remaining grant balances. LEAs are responsible for ensuring that funds are spent during the grant period, including meeting carryover limitations.  

Data will be provided for LEA review on the schedule below.

  • Aug. 17 (**Acknowledgement needed by Aug. 31) 

  • Aug. 31 

  • Sept. 7 

  • Sept. 14 

  • Sept. 21 

  • Sept. 28 

  • Oct. 1 (Assurance required from LEAs) 

  • Oct. 30 (Expiring Funds only) 

  • Nov. 13 (**Acknowledgment needed by Nov. 30, Expiring Funds only)

  •  Dec.1 (Expiring Funds only)

Each data load will be shown on a separate page. Most pages will be review-only and no action is needed from the LEA within the ePlan instrument. Two Acknowledgement pages require either the LEA Authorized Representative or the LEA Fiscal Representative to acknowledge that they have reviewed the data and understand the LEAs obligation requirements. LEAs must also complete an assurance that funds are obligated if the carryover requirement is not met in ePlan by Sept. 30.

  1. The Technical User Guide contains information including how to access InformTN on page 5. 
  2. Click the question mark in the upper right corner to open the Help section which contains the Technical User Guide.

Single Sign On (SSO) Account Set-up and Password Assistance (9/29/2020)

Individuals that have a locked SSO account should send an email to DT.Support@tn.gov requesting a new Welcome email.
